Boot Camp is not virtualization, by any definition. (And no, there's no way Microsoft or anyone else could argue that it is.)
I know that Bootcamp is not virtualization. What i am saying is that to run the OS in Bootcamp and a copy in parallels (legally) you would need to by the business or premium edition (or whatever they are called).

It does vary quite a lot by where you live. Living in Sweden (and coming from the UK) just about everyone I know uses MSN.
Same here, it seems that AIM is only popular within the US. Elsewhere Messenger totally dominates.

Maybe I should forget to pay my bill 30% of the time.
My wife had VZ and hated them. I doubt that there is actually any network out there that has acceptable quality. The iPhone is essentially a phone straight out of the future. It's like trying to run a RAZR on a network in the late 80's. It's too much data.

At&t bumped my upgrade eligibility from 11/30/2011 to 6/30/2011.
I do a lot of business and have several activated lines with AT&T and Verizon. I purchase several new phones annually from each of them. I'm a true smartphone addict. :eek:
AT&T has revamped the way they calculate upgrade eligibility and time lines. They used to simply count the months you've been in contract and assign you a fixed date.
Recently all that has changed. Now they take into consideration how much you spend with them, how many lines you have, what your data plan and text msg plans are etc. They monitor this on an ongoing basis. As a result your upgrade date on your account is dynamic and will change periodically.
It may change frequently or just once or twice during your contract period. In my case what I like is I get upgrade pricing just about anytime I wish based on the fact I spend quite a bit to have several concurrently activated phones.
Your mileage may vary :)

Based on the above info, UCF is the best probability of getting a WW tomorrow. If UCF is a WW, then it's most likely that either Nies or Eldiablojoe is the other one.

exactly, i'm sure the mini store has its uses but i mean compared to the others... i'm sure the itunes recommendations thingo is great for some people, but if you could stream music that is similar to your tastes / the current song ala pandora.com that would be 'saweet' :D

I have high-precision digital calipers, but only a black phone.
The only reason I found this interesting is the why. If the white phone is thicker, why is it thicker? Different camera vendor (since that's the thickest internal component)? Insulation on the antenna? Different battery? Thicker paint coating to prevent light leaks?
I couldn't care less about the fact that it might be thicker, only the reason. Alas, I don't think it is. Maybe only enough for the paint explanation.

hope they won't repeat the stupid overheat, whine, or shutdown issues in this release.
other than that, it's an impressive update and upgrade, especially compared to the painful and slow powerbook updates. Apple sure didn't dissapoint me at all!

it won't make much of a difference in terms of performance gain, but I would preffer getting a 5400 rpm and having more capacity instead. it might be very helpful for a lot of people though, it's just that i'm cost consious.
other than that, it's an impressive update and upgrade, especially compared to the painful and slow powerbook updates. Apple sure didn't dissapoint me at all!

Just buy what you like, but being all anal about specs is lame. Having the currently superior specs isn't gonna make anyone's penis any bigger, despite what you may think.

It seems that nobody ever likes anything successful.. Look at poor mcdonalds,coca cola,Ford and now apple and its ipod.... All the biggest comapanies always get in trouble. BMW and their idrive, ford and the firestone blowouts, apple and hearing loss... while dont people stop being jealous and peee off.
Ford and GM problems are their own fault - they don't produce fuel efficient cards - in north america - other ( non u.s ) manufacturers do - and they are reaping the benefits - whilst oil prices are high.
Once again the drones at Microsoft can't come up with anything new so they spend all their money trying to muscle in on something someone else had the vision to create. I hope they fail big time.
By the time M$ get any sort of marketshare Apple will be onto something new and innovative that that Big Bill will have to throw even more $$$ down the drain to catch up.
Jobs must be laughing his A*** off, he's forced M$ to create something that's going to lose them money, whilst Apple turns a tidy profit on each iPod sold!
